Agreed. President Bush would not be able to just lash out at someone to seek revenge. They would have to investigate to figure who\what came from where before we could retaliate. Two weeks is not enough time to do that.

Two weeks is not enough time to do that. Not entirely true. If some group were to take credit (almost certain to happen), there would be an almost-immediate response, which would bring condemnation from the left for not waiting for Obama to take care of it.
