duh,seems I remember several variations on the same story going around after 911 when everyone was waiting for the next thing to happen.
Just imagine, a sinister, sophisticated planning network whose plans are so secret that all the cabbies in new york are in on it AND they are good hearted so they warn big tipping Jews.

I bet that when nothing happens they will all say, “See, our warnings got the attention of the authorities and the plot was foiled!”
