Muslims find it safest in city schools

Muslim students are more likely to get attacked for their religion on the street, in stores and in restaurants than in the public schools, a new study shows.

Although more than one in three Muslim students said they had been hit with ethnic slurs in the past year, only one in six said it happened in school.

"Sometimes I'll hear something, like, 'Your people are terrorists,'" said Priscilla Mensah, a 16-year-old junior at Brooklyn Technical High School in Fort Greene. "Most people are more informed, and I try not to take it personally."

More than 600 students from 90 public schools participated in the three-year study conducted by Columbia University's Teachers College.

That’s odd, non-Muslims are more likely to be killed by Muslim terrorists in big cities such as New York and Washington.

Awwww! Poor dears, facing “discriminatory verbal incidents.” And this is an “attack”?

Meanwhile around the world every day, infidels are threatened with death, physically attacked, and killed.

This article starts from a very biased premise - that "discrimination" against Muslims is a problem. In fact the absolute opposite is true. The real problem we face Muslim persecuting non-Muslims just about every chance they get.

“Meanwhile around the world every day, infidels are threatened with death, physically attacked, and killed.”

Exactly. Do non-muslim schoolchildren get to feel safe in any muslim country’s city’s schools? I think not.

“conducted by Columbia University’s Teachers College”

Yep — there’s the source of the biased reporting right there.

Now I'm gonna get all stuffy and preachy ... I have this to say to muslims: 1) Stop whining. 2) It's your problem. Terrorists are muslims acting in the name of Islam, in the name of Allah and in the name of Muslims worldwide. Don't make it our problem. 3) Stop asking for government perks and privileges because you're Muslim. Our constitution stipulates that government is publicly neutral to specific religions, while it protects everyone's right to practice his religion (as long as it doesn't advocate killing people). That includes you.
