Sooners would beat Utah by 50 points.

The Sooners thought the same thing two years ago.

IIRC they came out on the short end of that one.

If there is anything that tonight's Sugarbowl and the Boise State vs. Oklahoma game prove is that hubris and football are not always a winning combination.

Well said. I’m 50 years old and other than the demise of the Big 10 nothing in college football has changed since I was a teenager. Always the same teams fighting for the national championship. Nice to see a new team come into the picture, especially in such a powerful way. The didn’t just beat Alabama, they manhandled them.
