Thank you, too. I’m jumping the gun here (disclaimer) but forgive me for wondering if perhaps the supposed injury that caused the seizure is a convenient explanation for the child not being on proper anti-seizure medication? Sorry for any offence in my original comments, too.

However, you can be off of seizure medication for awhile, and then have one. Our neurologist said that lots of kids with seizure disorders are off of medication for years, and then during college have more because they stay up late, drink caffiene, diet sodas, etc. Those things can all lower seizure thresholds.
