Absolutely. If we defined “natural born” perfectly, and Obama doesn’t meet the eligibility, we should only grandfather in his FIRST term. He would be ineligible to run again.
We desperately need to finalize the Constitutional definition of “natural born.” We owe it to our children and grandchildren to finally know what exactly it means.
Sadly, by the time it becomes necessary to attempt such closure, it's already too late. At least for civil discourse.
