2. By subverting the Constitution, then every other part of the Constitution is now up for subverting. 0bama has already said it’s a flawed document and needs to be rearranged anyway.
If 0 is found to be ineligible and tossed, it doesn’t matter if Franken becomes President (if he was the one next in line). Constitutional requirements would have been met instead of spat on, and 0 would have the light of truth shone on his wrong doing. Or at least some of it.

Totally agree with you, however if Obama is exposed as ineligible, most Dems will claim to have had no knowledge of the matter — successfully, with the cooperation of the media.
But there will most likely be a weakened Democratic Presidency and a GOP sweep in 2010, which would be quite welcome.
