Doesn't Blago have a right to a “speedy and public trial by jury?”

Fitz is looking for his pony and now needs more time to dig through the pile.

“Doesn’t Blago have a right to a speedy and public trial by jury? “He would, IF he were actually charged with something.

Actually it sounds like a reasonable plan.
Even if it is crystal clear that Blagojevich solicited prospective purchasers of the Senate seat, why would he think that the Jacksons or the SEIU would be interested buyers?
Blagojevich isn’t stupid, he didn’t make the offers just “hoping”. He had to have reasons to believe that the buyers were corrupt.
The charges against Blago definitely shouldn’t be the end of this investigation.

Great graphic. This is good for Blago and bad for Oba Mao. It’ll keep a cloud over hime for three more months, despite the efforts of the enemedia to spin it and put the Sheeple back to sleep. Great graphic, by the way!

Geez, 3 more months of Blago posing and pouting in front of the cameras, with his
faux, "who.....
moi?" act.
He's the most shameless attention whore I've ever seen, including Clinton, and that's saying something.

This is crap. It's all for Obama. If Blago is indicted by Jan 7, some nasty stuff will come out about Rahm and the O=man. So it has to wait until some time after the swearing in. The ONE will be well entrenched as prez by April. No one will care what went on “so long ago pre-prez”

Not to mention that it will force Obama to keep Fitzgerald (the Johnny Sutton of the North) in his job while he fires the rest of the federal prosecuters.

Fitz is covering for the new administration plain and simple. If they were worried about getting something that was going to stick, why didn’t they wait until money changed hands? They cut this investigation off because instead of stinking up Chicago/Illinois politics, it was going to stink up the new administration and Fitz didn’t want it to come to that. Personally, I think he doesn’t have much of a case and now he is trying to salvage something, which should look sickening to everyone involved. You pull the trigger prematurely, but now you need 3 months? For what?
Yet, if this were a Republican, we all know what would have happened...

What do you think? The longer Fitzgerald takes, the worse it may be for Obama? Happy thoughts anyway.
