Fox's study shows violent crime in the black community has gone up in the last decade -- not down.

But it doesn't say violent crime in the black community might have gone up even more were it not for abortion.

These correlations are so fanciful I don't think they "prove" much of anything.

Among countries where abortion is legal without restriction as to reason, the lowest abortion rate, seven per 1,000, is recorded by Belgium and the Netherlands. They aren't at all high crime countries, despite very, very little prenatal culling of the progeny. Conversely, if a high rate of aborting unplanned offspring resulted in a lower crime rate 15-25 years down the line, Russia would have the lowest crime rate in the world. Which, uh, ain't the case.

Anybody can say "Well, they're lower than they woulda been," totally larding together coincidence, correlation and causation, and ignoring evidence which tends to disprove the favored hypothesis. In other words: it's conjecture. Piffle.
