Detroit is the “new” Cleveland, all they need is the Detriot River to catch fire and seal the deal.
Detriot also has as many abandoned or destroyed homes as New Orleans, which is saying something..

Detroit will never be the new Cleveland, as Cleveland is the Paris of Northeastern Ohio. The real difference between Cleveland and Detroit is that Cleveland has all the glitter.

Detroit is twice the size of Cleveland and twice as bad off. Cleveland doesn't have the graveyards of civilization that Detroit features. No big abandoned skyscrapers or industrial plants. A few far-gone neighborhoods however.
Mostly Cleveland is just boring and empty of major attractions.
