FTA:
McCains presidential campaign kept him away from the Senate floor for 80 percent of votes taken. Of the votes the self-proclaimed maverick McCain did make, he voted with the party 93 percent of the time and with Bush 89 percent of the time.
Nice job, RNC...running a Democrat as the Republican nominee for President.

McCain is lucky he won his own home state, he should be kissing Sarah’s feet for making sure he wasn’t embarrassed on November 4th, instead he is too busy not defending her and being buddy buddy with the libs again

running a Democrat as the Republican nominee for PresidentNot fond of McCain, but I don't see how a 93% pro-GOP voting record makes him a Democrat!

Kinda curious about how many times Bush voted in congress for McQueeg to vote with him.

I recommend that the GOP let US pick the candidate in 2012 and keep the “media” out of it. The “media’s” selection of the GOP candidate this year really sucked.

I’m not sure what point you are making. 80% of the time he missed the votes, but most of them were procedural or filibuster votes where his vote made no difference at all. He mostly showed up when the votes really mattered, and when that happened, he mostly voted with republicans.
Of course, he just did that because he was running as a republican for President, so I don’t think it’s all that good.
Oddly, they don’t seem to make a big deal of the fact that Illinois actually has better representation now that Obama resigned than they had for the last two years he was running for President.

McCains presidential campaign kept him away from the Senate floor for 80 percent of votes taken Now if McCain would just agree to miss all 100% of the votes, we'd have a chance to run a conservative for that seat !

missed the most votes in the 110th CongressIt's called campaigning! Just for fun, how many votes did Hil and Barry miss in the 110th Congress?
Oh that's right, Barry just voted present.

State not well represented?
The only entity that fool represented was the dhimmicratic party.
May he be forced to spend an eternity with Nancy Pelosi (location left to your imagination).

It's called campaigning!
Its American idol for voters. He could have campaigned from the senate by way of a voting record but the pathetic piece of garbage even screwed that up when he tried.

I can't tell you how excited and proud I was to involuntarily pay his salary for a job he rarely showed up for, and pay for his campaign that he horribly ran.
At least Bob Dole had the cajones to resign from the senate during the summer before the election.
If Palin wants to run in 2012, I really hope she doesn't try to run for that senate seat. The last thing she needs is to be lumped in with that group of bottom-feeders.

Nah, I doubt she goes for the senate, I think she will stay away from that place like the plague

These hack politicians should all be required to resign their seats as soon as their campaigns for “higher” office are official.

Campaigning is no excuse for not doing their jobs. There were congressmen running on schedules just as busy who managed to get back to Washington and do their jobs. Plus they weren’t living like rock stars on donated money.
I’m actually a lot more impressed with low dollar campaigns where candidates show some actual fiscal responsibility.
