Clinton has a good shot at a carrier with Obama and Dems in office unless Clinton does not want a carrier like carter. I could never understand why Carter turned it down considering he is a Navy Academy Grad and Navy Veteran. Oh well his loss He wanted some kind of humanitarian U.S. Naval Ship or something like that.

No way on Clinton. Impeachment and no military service (not to mention draft dodging) killed it for him. Johnson and Nixon have nothing named, and they were both Naval Officers. They were also disgraced Presidents.
