“Driving a car is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT. The Constitution guarantees NO ONE the right to get behind the wheel.”

There is nothing in there that says you can eat bananas either, but you can.

Where in the Constitution does it give Government the right to consider use of roads a privilege?

I am so sick of hearing this happy horsecrap.

The constitution doesn’t guarantee me or you or anyone else their rights. It limits the Government. Your rights come from a higher power.

This BS about calling driving a privilege is only done so that we can be fined, taxed, punished, etc. without DUE PROCESS. Period.

I am not saying that we should go careering about willy nilly with no regard to properly enacted traffic laws, but I DO say that it is wrong to prevent a person from driving on PUBLIC roads without following due process.

Thank you. For the due process that is. I have in my hands my handy Pocket Constitution,(Cato Institute, $1.00) and nowhere in there can I find any 'DUI exception', 'driving privilege', or much of what is being discussed here.
