Can someone tell me how to post images. I’ve tried but it just posts the url.?

go to the help screen and look up HTML formating. It will tell you how to do it. It is quite easy. Be sure to get the tags right.

post the url in between < img src=”” > and then take the spaces out between < >

You need to get a photobucket account, upload the image you want to post (which means doing a “Save Picture As” when you find one on the net) and once the photo is uploaded to photobucket, click on the box underneat that says “Html code”, copy that code and paste into comment box.
