[I Buried My Guns]

Several years ago I applied to the Border Patrol. They did a thorough background investigation and I had to list every one of my family members, living and dead, and their nationalities. An investigator drove over 100 miles (from Houston to College Station) to my home and interviewed me for an hour or so. So far, everything normal.

However, when I went for my actual job interview, I was blown away by the fact that only one Border Patrol employee was a caucasian. Everyone else was hispanic.

That said, you must be a citizen to get hired.

One thing the investigator asked me that stuck over the years was "have you ever done anything that you could be blackmailed for?"
