"The 747 finally took off at 6:47 am Wednesday, bound for Memphis, FedEx’s main hub."

Are you embellishing? FedEx does not fly 747's. None.

And FedEx would not have a 0247 am departure out of LAX for MEM anyway. At least not one that carried overnight express (freight Charters maybe another thing). All flights carrying Express to Memphis, need to arrive at the Hub in the hours before 0130 CST in order take make the sort.

Because it is probably a “Wet Lease”............Like Gemini or Atlas.

When they fly our stuff using our routes........they use the FedEx call sign.

This is one of our conerstone negotiating issues......spelled S.C.O.P.E!

As things begin to heat up with no movement at the table, I expect to see more of this..............
