Um...taking up arms against you country is called treason. You will be facing criminal penalties.
BTW,I`ve not personally endorsed secession, and also believe its a non-issue. But if what I`ve read about the impending hyperinflation, (due to the massive debt) is true, the dollar may collapse. If it does, and there is another serious depression,I believe it does have the potential to cause civil unrest of a type not seen since the civil war.Thats a far more likely scenario then any secession.Question then is what would this administration do?These are questions worthy of discussion.
It is not treason if your government has become out of control. It is in the Declaration of Independence. The government should fear us, not the other way around. Our government is supposed to be OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE. Our elected officials are supposed to work for us, not us work for them.
Law upon law our government has enacted that go against the Constitution and we have to sit back and take it. Our government is out of control. Our founders knew that human nature would eventually take over and that is why we have a right to dismantle our government and start over again.
Do I think it should be war? I would hate for that to happen, but right now we are spinning out of control.
Not exactly.
Article III Section 3:
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.”
No person involved with the Confederate States of America was tried for treason.
But if you look at the definition of treason, one of the examples given is the betrayal of a trust or confidence, breach of faith, or treachery.
If anyone has committed treason, then it is our so-called elected “representatives” in Congress.
Congress betrayed our trust and confidence.
They have breached the faith, and have used treachery to screw us over.
