Maybe you don’t want to see it. It’s easy if you look.

Take this phrase...

>>A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of regular churchgoers found that 25% of Evangelical Christians read the Bible on a daily basis along with 20% of other Protestants. Just seven percent (7%) of Catholics do the same. At the other extreme, 44% of Catholics rarely or never read the Bible along with only seven percent (7%) of Evangelical Christians and 13% of other Protestants.<<

“Just” 7% of Catholics and “At the other extreme” are both framed in the negative. Maybe you’re immune because the MSM does it all the time.
They are showing the “different ways” yet don’t ask anything about Catholic practices. Like daily church attendance (mass for us) for instance or praying reflecting on scripture instead of “reading the Bible”. That is a positive for both Catholic practice and Protestant.

“Just” 7% of Catholics and “At the other extreme” are both framed in the negative.

Why is that a negative ? We already know the answer to that one --- most Catholics feel that attending mass and listening to scriptures and the homilies of the priests, plus their saying the rosary is sufficient for their spiritual needs. Since protestants and evangelicals don't say the rosary, they believe that it fills their own need to further do Bible Study.

So, 7% of Roman Catholics is a small number which can be qualified with the word "just", but that does not tell me that Catholics are any less spiritual or devout that protestants or evangelicals. Just different.

It's like saying I need to take more vitamins to make me stronger, while you don't need as much to make you stronger.

Rasmussen for me is not your standard MSM pollster. He is very sympathetic to Roman Catholics in particular and Conservatives in general and his polls are comparably accurate.
