Wouldn’t it be fascinating to put together some kind of “It’s a Wonderful Life” presentation showing what life would be like had Judaism or Christianity never been? These people think civilization is a given and that man’s progress is linear and upward forever. I doubt they realize just how much civilization piggybacks on religion. They are like the Kennedy’s living off the riches and influence of past generations. At some point the bank account runs dry and they face the real consequences of their lifestyles.
