This is a good example of someone having a valid point, but going about it the wrong way. Calling people fascist isn’t going to get anything done. It just gets people mad.
She does have one valid point. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, etc... were of middle easter descent. They probably looked more like modern arabs than modern northern europeans.

Unless I am mistaken, “Esq.” after the name means she is an attorney. She needs to get a real job.

Hard to tell. On a trip to Crete I learned that the people who lived there in ancient times were actually blonde…

Has anyone on here thought to send her the post of the beautiful Isreali soldiers with the over 200 pictures of all colors of Isreali women, many with blonde hair and fair skin? Jesus was a Jew after all, I think maybe this dufus would benefit from seeing what real Isreali women look like. Arabs are darker skinned, Isrealis are not all.

Almost certainly the Holy Family looked like swarthy middle-easterners. But if artists depict them with African, Germanic, Asian, you name it features, there is no harm in that if it inspires devotion, contemplation and closeness to God.
The Italians are the classic creche makers, thanks to Francis of Assissi, and their artistic ideal is somewhat Germanic. So what, Ms Porter? It’s tradition, and I’m sure you could respect it from any other group.

After all, Wagner created the Aryan Messiah with “Parsifal”.

Go
here and look at the photos of the "Tree of Knowledge" next to the Nativity Scene.
It's full of hate speech towards religion. It's not promoting that group, it just hate speech towards others.
Not surprisingly, Karen Porter's LTE is silent on that topic. That is because Karen Porter is willfully blind and morally bankrupt.

The defendants (Jesus, Mary and Joseph) were first pronounced guilty, and then all she had to do was fill in the blanks.

The Jewish laws against intermarriage were probably followed tightly in the lineages of Mary and Joseph. They were by all accounts orthodox and faithful.
They therefore probably looked like Syrians today.
