I’m guessing around 7% since most of the proposed cut to the Alaska state budget was capital spending. Capital spending is spending on infrastructure, buildings, other structures, etc.

At the risk of catching Hades on this thread, in general, capital spending is what government is SUPPOSED to be doing.

What government is NOT supposed to be doing is all of this social spending which is driving us bankrupt.

Sorry, rushed this. Should be at least 14% of the budget — capital spending must be at least 14% of the budget because most of the 7% proposed cut in total spending would come from the approx. 50% cut in capital spending.
