Haven’t seen much news on this lately. Must mean Coleman still has a chance.

By Allah I decree that the seat must be instead given to a black person because the prophet Mohammed came to me in a dream and spaketh it unto me.

Since Democrats keep finding Frankenstein ballots out of thin air, and keep the process going until Republicans just acquiesce out of fear of being called bigots when they try to fight for anything at all anymore.

I suppose a run-off election is out of the question? Let the legal voters decide rather than the lawyers/judges.

Why do people even care if they are called bigots?
I don’t give a damn what anyone calls me or thinks of me.

Now, have they checked each absentee ballot to confirm there were no deaths before election day?

The state board overseeing the recount ordered that the ballots be counted, and the state Supreme Court agreed although justices added a few wrinkles. A majority ruled that either campaign can keep any ballot out of the mix with a written objection, leaving spurned voters the option of going to court to reinstate their ballot. -Associated PressThis is beyond absurd -- the cost!!

That’s the attitude we definitely need to cultivate more of; that’s what will lead to our Renaissance.

It is truly a shame on the whole country to be unable to answer a simple question - how many ballots were cast for each of just two guys? Every 3rd world country can do it.
This case exposed the electoral process in the USA as chaotic, unreliable, and ultimately undemocratic. The officials, apparently, can come up with boxes and boxes of previously unseen ballots (only when they are needed!) and nobody is in jail yet. And they are still haggling about which of the previously buried ballots should be allowed to be counted! Democracy galore... if election officials permit it.

A law needs to be enacted that says if the percentage win is not one full percentage point then the election goes to a mandatory run-off. Statistical ties should not count, leaving elections open to this kind of wrangling and delay. Elections are not something that should be for the courts to decide.
