One very unfortunate development has been the Section 8 and similar programs with the result of the demise of previously fine neighborhoods. Here the counties use it as weapons against the affluent and educated.

It's a big problem here in Tampa. Section 8 is tearing some neighborhoods apart.

I own rental properties and refuse to rent to people in the Section 8 program. I have almost come to blows with people whome I've denied- they think they're "entitled" to rent my homes.
