Maybe the central part of the nation (totally red states ) could successfuly secede, maybe even without civil war, and let the northeast and the west coast have their own communist government that they so desire. Allow people to re-locate if they wish, before sending the illegals home. Conservatives who should want to move to the central states could be allowed to do so, and communists that live in the central states be allowed to GET THE HELL OUT.
Oh well, probably just daydreaming...
