The article tries to show Rather as the victim of CBS and President Bush, and that "...The charges outlined in Rather's lawsuit will cast a further shadow over the Bush legacy."
Just a wild guess here, but I'm thinking President Bush is not going to be losing sleep over this one! :-)

Dan Rather should have remained the sleeping dog who lied. His lawsuit is going to remind everyone once again of the extent of his incompetence.

The false docs were used to dump Rather instead of Bush? And Rather is mad? Don’t play with fire Dan.

Rather must be suffering from dementia. The again dementia is widespread amongst leftists everywhere so this isn’t unusual.

There, fixed it. I'm sure that the Guardian will thank me.

His one statement, which I heard with my own superb hearing, “fake but accurate”, should cause anything this man says, accuses, writes or even dreams about to be discounted as the ravings of a mad man.

It’s simple. If you believe Rather’s docs were genuine, you have to believe that thirty years ago, Dubya’s unit had access to a PC with Microsoft Word. You have to believe that was even possible. That’s the only way those things are real.
