Talked to my mother today about an armed man in a standoff with police on Christmas day just a couple of blocks from me.
She starts the “if people didn’t have guns this wouldn’t happen” routine. I love my mother dearly but sometimes her comments are too much.
Reminded her of the 2nd amendment, the fact crooks don’t register guns and most of the men in our family are hunters.
She decided to switch to a safer subject.
