Look, in the foster care system, you sometimes have some really unpleasant choices. You can have the kid languish in the system, which doesn’t prepare them at all for life outside (because gov’t makes a LOUSY parent), or maybe there’s someone out there that wants to be a parent that just happens to be gay.
I don’t like it, either but I’d say if there are no hetero married couples or single people to take a kid, having them be raised by gay people may not be such a terrible thing.
Believe me, state run group homes and other foster homes can’t give the kids the stability they need.
