She’s more of a Populist.
She is the reason McPain had a chance.
It’s not someone we should push as a “conservative”.
She served her purpose and it’s time to move on to find a true conservative.

I’ve seen this populist assessment discussed several times on other threads and I am still trying to get my hands around it. There are TWO populist type positions I have ever seen or heard out of Sarah, and that is her mildly criticizing Wall Street during the campaign and the bailout. I have to believe she as running mate said these things b/c of McCain’s positions.
And the whole taxing of oil companies in AK and giving that money to citizens is b/c it is AK resident’s $$, they own or should get royalties to the mineral rights, correct?
Can someone enlighten me as to what other populist positions she has or has ever spoken about? When I think of populist, I think of the Huckster and other than their religious beliefs, Sarah aint no Huckster. Where is this populist thing coming from?
I guess we’ll have to wait for CPAC, etc for more policy positions to be sure, but she does not strike me as a pure populist.
Well it may be that she is conservative, I just need to find out more about her.
I’ll hand it to you. You are remarkedly consistent in your talking point that we should move on. So I vow to be as equally persistant in telling you “NO”.
Spread that reponse to your friends. I’ll support Sarah so long as she supports conservative positions. I don’t foresee that changing anytime soon nor do I see conservatives following you off that damn cliff anytime soon by deserting her.
She’s pro-gun and pro-life. I vote based on those facts. I’ve yet to find anyone who thinks like me other then me with respect to other issues, so she’s fine with me.
