I've been known to deal a friendly hand or two among friends and I noticed the same thing in the look she gave that creep Baldwin on SNL. You never can tell if the Lady's bluffing, but the safe bet is to always assume she has the Ace.

About the trip to AK to met SP. I've been thinking of talking it up here at FR and if there is enough interest among Freepers we might think about a charter flight up leaving from, say, LAX.....I know GG is in LA and you are in TX.....I could get out there easily on a straight shot from Philly.......anyway, I'm just throwing it out as an idea...sort of a Freeper mini convention in AK that could invite the Gov to say a few words........well, the idea is now on the flag pole...lets see if anybody salutes!

A trip sounds great. Before SP was even on the national scene, my wife and I had been talking about a cruise to Alaska next summer (I'm a photography enthusiast) but with the market meltdown, we're sort of in a holding pattern right now. We'll have to see how it goes but I'll sure keep it in mind. With our kids grown and our last one in college, we're finally completely debt and obligation-free and want to keep it that way with all the uncertainty in front of us.

I wish I had taken that National Review cruise to Alaska a few summers back. I understand some folks on that trip had a chance to meet the Guv.
