A woman's 80-year-old grandfather fatally shot her estranged husband after he tried to take their two children from the grandparents' house, Conroe police said Saturday.
==========cut======================
According to police, Boudreaux's estranged wife and children have been living with her grandparents for about five months. When Boudreaux arrived Friday and tried to take the children, the grandfather intervened and ordered him to leave. Boudreaux refused, pushing the man out of the way, the statement said. The grandfather then allegedly retrieved a revolver from another room and placed it in his back pocket before again advising Boudreaux, who was aware the older man had a gun, to leave, police said.
As the two left the home out to the driveway, Boudreaux again pushed the older man and allegedly struck him in the chest area where he recently had a pacemaker inserted, police said. Fearing for his life, police said the older man then allegedly shot Boudreaux once, killing him.

Just eye-witness testimony. Unfortunately for your fantasy scenario, that's enough.
Live people can make any allegations they want. Dead people have a difficult time rebutting said allegations.
No marks on the grandfather? Attacks and punches to an eighty year old grandfather didn’t leave a red mark or bruise? No swelling or redness reported by a person on heart medication?
The grandfather followed the father out of the house and killed him in the driveway?
No marks on the grandfather? Attacks and punches to an eighty year old grandfather didnt leave a red mark or bruise? No swelling or redness reported by a person on heart medication?ding ding ding. The father was set up. Freepers are *so* gullible in situations like this. The grandfather followed the father out of the house and killed him in the driveway?
I was on blood thinners last year and I scratched the outside of my nose. I bled for four hours out of this tiny cut I could hardly see in the mirror.
I was so bruised during that time, I looked like I had fallen down a flight of stairs. My cat could give me a bruise.
I’m not saying the grandfather or the father was wrong but it didn’t have to happen.
The way some of these freepers are posting, you would have thought a sex offender had broken into the house stopped only by the heroic actions of the grandfather.
Yeah, unbiased third party testimony from the granddaughter and other family members of the shooter./s
The cops came, they investigated, and they chose NOT to arrest the shooter. That doesn't exactly fit your little fantasy scenario, now does it??
Is there any material evidence the grandfather was attacked and/or punched?
Try sticking to the FACTS reported in the article instead of your fantasy speculations. There is NO, I repeat NO evidence supporting the scenario you three are spinning. One of these days, Junior, you're going to grow up and understand how the world works. The cops came, they investigated, and they chose NOT to arrest the shooter. That doesn't exactly fit your little fantasy scenario, now does it??
I'm sixty-two, and a PhD Chemist. I understand quite well "how the world works", thank you. Right now, the available evidence points to a justified self-defense shooting. NO datum points to the scenario you are trying to sell.
With eyewitness testimony, none is needed. That isn't to say that there isn't any, because none of the news stories (and I've taken the trouble to look at all the ones that Google turned up, including the duplicates).
So stop spinning fantasies based on stuff you pull out of your ass. Which, as near as I can tell, is your standard SOP on EVERY self defense thread I've ever seen you post on.
I grew up in South Louisiana, surrounded by Cajuns, and married one. They CAN be VERY hot-tempered. It is far more likely, given the people involved, that the story went down exactly as reported, than the scenario you and the other two keep trying to foist off.

Evidence?
No reported marks on this frail heart patient. This heart patient didn’t have to go to the hospital for a checkup following this “attack” and “punches”?
This frail grandfather was so in fear for his life, he armed himself and they left the house along with the father?
I noticed a small little sentence in one the articles. The investigation is still ongoing. I’ll be interested in the Grand Jury report.
With all due respect, you're filling in details that dont exist.
The father has a full right to his children, and the grandfather had no right to stand b/t the man and his children.
If my ex-father-in-law (who is a self-involved violent a$$hole) stood b/t me and my two kids, I'd have done the same.
Unless there is clear evidence that the man was an abusive father, fry the grandfather as a murderer

So, oh omniscient one, if you know so much, post an excerpt from any of the news stories that supports your fantasy.
Otherwise, go back to growing on Georgia hillsides like the weed you are.
Explaining air to fish is counterproductive.
So is trying to have a rational discussion with idiots who live in a fantasy world. Buzz off!!
“While they are fixing that, they need to do something about deadbeat dads.”
The epidemic of “deadbeat dads” is a MYTH! Our govt made it up to cover their mistakes with welfare. MOST noncustodial parents pay every dime every month. Next is the group who pay almost all of it almost all of the time. The smallest group is parents who are chronic non payers.
Right now the media writes about “deadbeat dads” because the govt has included all noncustodial parents in their collections, even families who don’t want or need it. They did this to collect more federal matching funds. It’s all a fraud.
STOP DISSING DADS!!!!
I know hundreds, if not thousands of dads who are illegally kept from their children.
“Plus .. why was the father trying to TAKE the children from the home ..??”
Maybe he had a court order for visitation. These are often ignored and rarely enforced.
Why do you assume the father is at fault? Wouldn’t you shove someone who is keeping you from your children? I certainly would! And we don’t even know if he knew about the man’s pacemaker.
