Look, I don't know how I can be any clearer. ANY "projected cost numbers" are meaningless, totally without foundation, due to the early stage of the project. Anybody who makes such a calculation is simply wasting their time, and anybody who posts about them is doing the same. So you can stop wasting MY time by trying to justify your "position".

I'd offer to inform all the researchers that they are wasting their time making projections because you said they are but somehow I just don't think they will be impressed with your personal opinions.
