How do you know that? Bobby comes across as much more experienced. I like Sarah, but come on. Possible VP, maybe.
I agree. Where’s the evidence that the $700b bailout-supporting Palin is another Churchill, Thatcher, or Reagan? When the economy gets worse, and when the government becomes incapable of doing anything but raising taxes to meet budget shortfalls, there’s going to be hell to pay for the imbeciles and schemers who supported that bill.
Bobby Jindal is vastly more experienced, knowledgeable, and has not deviated significantly from conservatism ever. Anti-illegal, anti-CAFTA, and he’ll be credible when he criticizes the bailout, unlike Palin who defended it in a mind-bogglingly inarticulate manner on television.
Expanding the size of government by taking about a trillion dollars from the taxpayer and sending it to the banks - that’s where I draw the line. Then consider what effects the implied guarantee of solvency will have on financial risk analysis done by banks in the future, i.e. the catastrophe will happen again.
That is not conservatism.
