Why have they not been fired and now being prosecuted?

What's not said here is that this Ford plant sort of "buys" peace with the local union shop by allowing the top union guys of the local to get all this time off & un-merited overtime. So it's not necessarily Ford that is being ripped off here - it's really every one else who works hard and plays by the rules - and then is expected to let their taxes be used to throw a life-line to this corrupt union.

From the start of this mess I have always figured that the Justice Department was a better agency to solve the problem than the Fed Bailout.

But that takes a desire for truth which almost the entire government lacks!
