"Question for active duty and recently discharged military. Would the troops and officers fire on American citizens in an attempt to confiscate our legally owned weapons? The military is sworn to uphold the constitution. WILL THEY???"

No.

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).

Soldiers and Marines are more likely than people of any other group to honor every word of that. Most of them are also from the most generous and conservative families in our USA.

But certain private civilian organizations would be likely to violate your constitutional rights while claiming to uphold the Constitution. They are fascists and communists who would like to murder whole groups of other good Americans because of their race, ethnicity, income levels and the like.

BTW, it is also repeatedly made very clear to every soldier and Marine, that he is never to follow any unlawful order. ...same—even more so—to the officers.
