Anyone remember the Chrysler Cordoba with Ricardo Montalban and the "rich Corinthian leather"?

I remember that.

My dad owned a Chevy Vega at that time. He often said that on a cold, quiet winter night you could hear that car rust.

He also wondered if one winter morning he would walk outside and find the car completely rusted away, with the only surviving piece being that worthless aluminum engine.

One of our first cars was a Chevy Vega with a V8 in it. It was the cheapest car we could find at the time. Black exterior and interior, tricked out to be a street racer.

The day we bought it, we were driving around with our new born in the back and some guy with a tricked out Malibu or similar car flagged us down and offered to trade straight across. We didn't bite but still laugh today about that, he wanted it sooo bad.
