“We went with 100% latex”

Si did we and we love it. Except for the price ($1300 mattress only) and the weight they are the best, IMO.

We bought 2 of the Tempurpedic pillows at $90.00 each and the fumes made me pass out two nights in a row. After we took them back, the salesman told us others have had the same experience.

Thinking that maybe the Tempurpedic aficionados are just passing out unknowingly and so they think they got an uninterrupted night's sleep? :-)

Seriously though, I've heard that as well.

Mattress shopping is really tiresome. Even a lousy mattress is not cheap and who wants a lousy mattress that you need to replace in a few years? The no springs mattresses scared me at first until I did some serious sleeping around at various mattress stores :-). There's a lot on the internet too. I'm really happy with the latex but like you, didn't care for the price (wish it were 'only' 1300). But, I figure we'll have it for years and so broke it down by cost per year (assumed @ 10 or so years).

I LOVE to watch TV and read in bed and our mattress doesn't cause a sore 'lower region' by sitting up in it for a period of time :-)

My husband also snores terribly and I swear with the new latex mattress he hardly snores at all. But maybe he is passed out and not really sleeping at all ???
