“decriminalize” does not mean “make it legal”. It means civil penalties and rehab as opposed to decades in Terminal Island.
Massachusetts “decriminalized” last election; fine of $100 for posession of less than one oz and rehab for minors caught with pot.
I think there'll be a push to legalize it. Under that circumstance, any ideas?
