I sang 'Stille Nacht' in the original German a couple weeks ago (albeit in church)...

I'd like to see what happens when it is sung in German.

Well, at my house nothing would happen.
Because that's how my Wife and her Mother sing it :-)

And they'll be doing it tomorrow. Christmas Eve is HUGH for Germans.

But you prolly already know that.

The composer of Silent Night, Franz Xaver Gruber, was a relative of Edmund Louis “Snitz” Gruber who wrote the Caisson Song. The Caisson Song is now the US Army Song, The Army Goes Rolling Along.

There’s 2 reasons for liberals to hate Silen Night.
