Macys is one of the worst of the War on Christmas types. Stores like Target, Home Depot, and especially Lowes have all responded to complaints they have removed Christmas (How many times can Lowes say Christmas in one TV ad-WOW!!! lol)

Sadly they have gone the way of Dizzney. They used to be one of the best, the Tanksgiving day parade capped off by the Jolly old elf. Miracle on 34th street, etc...

I find it ironic that the commerical vendors find offense in a religious holiday, specifically Christmas, that generates so much revenue for them. I can only relate this to my thoughts on politicians...they want your vote but not your voice. Here we have vendors that want your money but not your religion.

I would further say the only way to reverse this attitude is to put the religious aspect of Christmas first priority and the commericalism of the holiday a very low priority. As for gift giving...give me a piece of homemade fudge over an IPod anyday.
