Vice President-elect Joe Biden is worried about the “exceedingly high expectations” the world community has for Barack Obama’s presidency.

You got to love the way Biden is covering 0bama’s ass. They promise the world months ago and now they are afraid they wont be able to make good on it.

Actually, I think this is something different. Mr. Biden is sowing the seeds for significant discord within Obama's administration.

Obama is a classic case of "youth and enthusiasm in collision with inexperience and naivete." He'll actually start out trying (and most likely failing) to make good on all of the things he promised.

Biden is the cynical old insider, who will undoubtedly feel the need to 'splain to the youngster how things really work in Washington DC.

In classic fashion, Obama will become increasingly frustrated with his Vice President. I predict that within a year, Obama will be ignoring Biden at every opportunity.

And Biden's office will be leaking to beat the band -- initially to try to influence Obama's policies; and eventually just out of spite.

The Senate will probably side with Biden, trying to moderate Obama's exuberance.

Should be an entertaining few years.

“My contention is this: Whoever is sworn in has responsibility. It is his/her watch and the blame game does not work. If the person cannot handle it, he/she should resign.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

That is easy to say but in reality the actions of Presidents often have effects that only begin after they leave office and continue long afterward. That is why the verdict of history on presidential rankings is often far different than popular opinion during the actual term. Much of the current disregard for the Constitution can be traced to actions taken by FDR, Lincoln and others.
I despised Carter but I have often said that much of what he was blamed for during his administration was not of his doing, on the other hand actions beginning under Carter and exacerbated by Clinton seem to be the primary cause of the current housing collapse and all the repercussions. I said years ago that the country would never recover from the damage done by Clinton and I still believe that. The average voter with a ten second attention span may think George Bush is responsible for everything going wrong now but the real results of the Bush blunders will probably show up during Obama’s term, Obama on the other hand can safely be counted on to create problems of his own with very little delay.
Of course voters who don’t even know what party controls congress at any given time cannot be expected to comprehend that congress is really responsible for legislation and its results. Just because a president asks for a certain program does not excuse congress when the results are the opposite of what is intended.
In the end it all comes back to the fact that we allow any and every dingdong to vote and we are seeing the results of that every day. Every election we have more idiots voting and every election we have more idiots elected. Restrictions on voting cannot be reimposed because the same idiots would have to reimpose them so what possible way is there to restore legitimate government? I leave that to your imagination.

I wouldn’t overlook the possibility of some manner of collusion between the Hildebeast and Obama-Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong.
It’s not just the BC, though. He traveled to Pakistan as a younger man, during a time when a US Passport would not allow that. SO...what nation’s passport did he use?
Also, there is some issue with, possibly, an Indonesian citizenship, as well.
The BC is an issue; but, it’s only one issue.

And the fact that the SCOTUS is giving all this a pass has me VERY concerned.

Biden is using codespeak. He’s really saying that it will take a long, long, long, long, lo-o-o-o-o-o-ong, long time for all of the promises to come true. So it’s absolutely essential that the voters keep us in office for, oh, say about 200 years or until we make the world a perfect place, whichever comes later.

The hope-a-dopes got their wish.

Hungry? Eat hope.
