No politician ever is. The previous poster I was responding to felt a police officer assassinating an unarmed public official was not a bad thing and that Mascone was a minions of Satan, I felt compelled to disagree.
George Moscone, alongside Harvey Milk, assisted by Jimmie Jones and other such useful cultists, ushered in what is now the degenerated city of San Francisco. Moscone and Milk played as mean a game on politician and seat holder, Dan White, as was possible. I do wish Dan White hadn't shot them, tho. This very act ushered in Phase Two of the Movement into the Abyss for San Francisco, as the Harpies and Marxists were emboldened, as death cultists usually are, by the deaths of Moscone and Milk. All heralded the onset of what many now refer to as the SF Board of Stupervisors.
I think you and the poster you refer to in your post are both quite correct.
For in a City which stands for little more than nothing sane, nothing civil nor respectful, in the here and now, yes... you both are correct.
