America is absorbed in an Obama love fest because consumer confidence is at an all time low. They are excited that someone new is taking over next month. The people expect the Messiah to magically fix the economy and make everyone rich. If the economy continues to be sour next year, then the Messiah’s approval ratings will fall down to earth.

Keep in mind that FDR came into office at the beginning of the Great Depression, had the economy get even worse, adopted socialistic measures that we can probably NEVER get rid of, and was still wildly popular for three terms.
