Sarah is only 44, and Jindal isn't even 40. Let Romney or Rudy or Huck take on the media's darling. Then we go to the bench for our prized young superstars to be the “change we can believe in” in 2016.
If, and only if, O turns out to be Jimm-uh Carter v.2.0 should we even consider running Sarah or Bobby in 2012.

Totally agree with Ann, especially with Ann’s courage to point out that Palin needs a lot more time on the vine - and a lot more education - before she dances on the national stage again.

I’m still a Jindal fan, but Palin definitely is going to be a force that is here to stay.
She has more time "on the vine" than Obama. An Al Sharpton with a Harvard education.
America is absorbed in an Obama love fest. Unless he does something incredibly stupid and criminal, that's not going to be over so soon.

By the time that becomes clear, the die would be cast. Palin will, I hope, keep testing the waters as well as getting herself up to speed on the fundamentals of conservative thought and on international politics. But we can't expect her to turn into Thomas Sowell overnight.

I guess I take it for granted that Obama will be destructive of our rights - and that we are in dire need of a champion now, not in 2016.
I take Obama’s win as confirmation that the American public, at large, doesn’t give a damn about philosophy, qualifications or character. They’ll have to learn the hard way.

Depends - If we are attacked, even once, Obama and all Democrats are toast.
How fantastic would it be if Dr. Sowell and Ambassador Bolton were tasked with the responsibility of “coaching up” Sarah for whatever comes next?
