In about 1975 I read a book checked out for the CU library that spoke of how FDR’d administration knew that Pearl Harbor was to be attacked. There was enough credibilty to make me always question traditional history lessons.

I first heard of the the ideal of Patton being assassinated sometime after being stationed at Ft. Knox in 1977 so it isn’t exactly a new idea.

History is written by the winning survivors so there is always another side that isn’t getting told.

Careful with that last line. That’s the exact argument that Holocaust revisionists use.

Personally, I do not believe that FDR had prior knowledge about the attack on Pearl Harbor. And I am no FDR apologist.

It is like the JFK assination, I do not think Lyndon had anything to do with it. And I learned as a young man how Lyndon operated. He was capable of almost anything, but he did not kill Kennedy.
