Im confused - so someone please help.

This is the way I see things...

Couples don't get married ... individuals do.

One married, they become a couple.

All individuals can get married.

Where is the problem?

The problem is same sex marriage threatens religious freedom and traditional values. If its bigotry to oppose the marriage of two men or two women, its only a short step to rendering other religious beliefs beyond the pale. The radical gay lobby is not interested in a compromise. And where moral absolutes are concerned, no compromise can be possible.
