Just bought a 2008 F250 Super Duty 4X4 four weeks ago.. almost $11k off the sticker price. I was a GM fan for years but in 1998 I bought my first Ford truck and I would never go back.

the f250 might be my next purchase, just very worried about the 6.4L holding together, ever since Ford left the 7.3L, nothing but issues.

There is no comparison between Ford’s full size vehicles (TRUCKS/VANS) and any other manufacturer on the planet. They truly are at the front of the class with no one else even close.

Now if they could only get their passenger car divisions and products to the same level, particularly in North America where they have lagged for a long time, no one could stop them. They are working on it and showing real progress in this area, I expect fully Ford to be around for a long long time, worst thing they could have done in my oppinion is get in bed with the feds, that likely would have undone all the progress they have made and momentum they were finally getting.
