Bob I had a lynx diesel in the 80s. Got over 40mpg. I would love to have that car again. But NO! The wacko's in Congress jacked up the diesel cost and will not let a small diesel in. I had a Spanish SEAT 127 in the 80s that I bought from an AF Chaplain that was going somewhere else. Those 4 cylinders hauled ass over there. Just put gas in it.
