The problem with cars these days is that they are just transportation vehicles. They have no personality. They are just cars.

In the 50's your car was an extension of your self. People could tell a lot about you by the car you drove.

In the 50's and 60's every September was a time of excitement because the new models were coming out. There are no new models these days. Just the same old boring crap year after year after year.

I only buy new cars when my old ones wear out to the point that they are no longer "transportation vehicles".

Yep, and it was easy to tell what model year it was just at a glance...

Yep. Cars don’t have ‘personalities” today and havn’t for many years. Back in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s a casual glance could tell you the year, make and most of the time the model of a car. Today, they all look the same.
