Easy for you to say! I didn’t say I wanted the bailout I just said it’s idiotic to punish everyone because you have this hatred for the UAW. Buying foreign is against everything I believe in. Go ahead and support China, Japan, and every other foreign carmaker out there.
It doesn't take any "hatred" to realize that the UAW is screwing both their customers and the taxpayers. I was a member of both groups. I shall be a member of only one in the future.

Sorry, I'm not a protectionist. If an American product is the best and the best value for money, I'm happy to buy it. If an American product can't compete - especially because of bloated union wages - I'll buy foreign. I'm not willing to impoverish myself just to "buy American" and I'm sure as heck not going to support unions that are hostile to liberty and conservative values.
The only way our industries will be healthy in the long run is to be competitive. Our wages can be significantly higher only if our workers are significantly more productive.
