On Thursdays CBS Early Show, co-host Julie Chen came to the defense of would-be New York Senator Caroline Kennedy, who has faced criticism for her lack of experience: "This is so unfair. I mean, look, the system is set up the way it's set up and Governor Paterson decides and that's it. Leave her alone, everyone." That comment followed a report by correspondent Meg Oliver, in which Kennedy avoided tough questions from the press: "She quickly got a taste of the pressure that comes with seeking a high-profile political office...questions mostly went unanswered."
Chen was not so quick to defend Sarah Palin from critics during the campaign.
I SWEAR I ALWAYS thought this person was a CHICK!!
Contrast the coverage of Governer Palin’s family with that of Caroline Kennedy’s. For instance, Caroline’s daughter Rose would make Sara’s daughter look like a choir girl:
Leslie Moonves had THREE-WAY SEX in a WHITE HOUSE BATHROOM on NEW YEAR”S EVE in 2000....was one of the THREESOME, Chen??
Is that the SAME CHEN????
Several years ago, living in San Francisco, one of the local newsies, an Asian woman on the NBC affiliate, was offended no end when her bosses wanted her to undergo a bit of *work* in order to make her look more like Connie Chung -- you know, *caucasian her up a bit* as it appears Chen has.
OMG!! Looks like her daughter ROSE KENNEDY SCHLOSSBERG is a TRAMP...or a least a DRUNK...and is that another GIRL that she’s KISSING??? YUK! No WONDER CAROLINE wants to run to the Senate!!
Did Chen defend Palin??
Your response is just like mine. A student that Harvard should be proud to have (sarc).
She had some major work done!
Miss Chen...when you put yourself out there and step into the arena you are fair game for all of those who like or don’t like you and who will talk about you at every turn. Everyone else has been subjected to this kind of scrutiny ai why not Caroline? She has no experience at all and yet she thinks she should have the NY Senate seat. What are her qualifications? Author? Nope. Arts? Nope. She should get real and know she is no more qualified to hold that post than a lot of others. She is trying to step into the high rollers without paying any dues at all.
She has to know she cannot be immune to all the media news and opinions that have been heaped upon others just because her name is Kennedy or whatever. If she doesn’t like the heat she can get out of the kitchen. You know how the game works Ms. Chen so Stop being so silly and just report the news. OK???
The whole thing is a stupid joke and I’m very surprised at Caroline to even pursue this avenue.
Um didn’t they do the same thing but worse to Palin?
Just love how all the newsies are calling Caroline "Mrs. Kennedy". If she doesn't want to use her husband's name, fine, we've come to accept that, but really, if she's going to allow herself to be called Mrs. Kennedy, then I'm going to ask which uncle or cousin she married.
then she should be home being a mother right..??..isn’t that what they said about palin...??....oh the audacity of these people....not surprised at all...

According to reports, the pesky fact that the 55-year-old CBS president was still technically married to Nancy, his previous wife of 24 years, had prevented the ceremony from occurring earlier. Earlier this month, Moonves successfully petitioned a Los Angeles judge grant him a divorce before finalizing the divorce’s alimony, child support and property division details, finally clearing the way for him to marry Chen.
Although Nancy Moonves only filed for divorce in April 2003, rumors of a relationship between Moonves and Chen predated the filing by several years, dating back to Moonves’ defense of Chen’s performance on Big Brother 1 back in 2000. Chen and Moonves had purchased a Beverly Hills home together earlier this year.
Listen up everybody. Caroline Kennedy (Schlossberg) was a mayor of a small town for several years and then took on her own party and challenged one of its bigwig officials and defeated him in an election as Governor of her state, where she has served admirably for over two years with a very high popularity rating among the people; having facilitated the Alaska Pipeline among other accomplishments. . .
uh . . what’s that you say? That wasn’t Caroline? . . . oops! my bad! Caroline hasn’t done diddly except “be a Kennedy”. Big whoop! About all the Kennedy women have going for them is their emaciated looking physiques and “social” auras and pretensions. . oh, and “Uncle Teddy”.
At the top of Tuesdays CBS Early Show, co-host Julie Chen teased an upcoming segment on Sarah Palin meeting with world leaders at the United Nations by declaring: “The education of Sarah Palin. The Alaska governor has her first meetings with world leaders as they gather at the U.N. How will she do?” While Chen wondered about Palins understanding of foreign policy, on May 22, she thought Hawaii was located in the Atlantic Ocean.

Looks like she had a head transplant.
Caroline Kennedy has never taken the last name Schlossberg after she married exhibit designer, Edwin Schlossberg in July 19, 1988. Those who call her Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg are incorrect. It is convenient that her daughters from Edwin, Rose (born June 25, 1988) and Tatiana (born May 5, 1990) are known by their last name, Schlossberg. Whatever youthful activities they fall into do not raise the red flags as would happen if their last names were Kennedy.
I am certain that Caroline’s daughers will not get the scrutiny that Sara’s daughter, Bristol, received from the vomitoriums of the Left Wing Media.
